Step 1:
- Always exfoliate and remove any unwanted body hair 24 hours before tanning
- Apply to well-cleansed dry skin. Do not apply an oil-based product just before your tan application.
Step 2:
- Shake the bottle and hold it upside down so that extra gas does not escape.
- Apply the self-tanner in areas starting first from the face, continuing with the arms, then the legs, followed by the torso. Massage the self-tanner into your skin in a circular motion. Avoid contact with eyes.
- Feel free to use an application glove or wash your hands thoroughly.
- A handful of mousse is enough for an adult’s arm.
- Note: It does not contain any sun protection factor. Do not expose yourself to the sun before 12 hours.
- It is designed to be layered. Apply one layer of tan all over the body for a nice sun-kissed glow. Let the first coat sit for about 5 minutes, and apply another layer for a more bronzed glow.
Step 3
- The product has no guidance colour that needs to be washed off. Gradual tanning should be kept from being washed off. The effect of tanning is created in the skin.
- For optimum results, we advise avoiding showering, swimming, and sweating for 4—8 hours (ideally 8hrs).
Applying every day for 3-4 consecutive days to achieve a natural glow before breaking for a couple of days and then starting again. Apply on alternate days continuously for a subtler build-up and consistent seven-days-a-week light.

Can a self-tanning make worse my hyperpigmentation?
Hyperpigmentation/uneven pigmentation is often due to ageing skin, sun exposure, hormones, inflammations or other damage such as acne or other skin diseases. The active ingredient in tan activator is anti-inflammatory, and there is evidence that it gives an even skin tone, which contradicts that it would increase hyperpigmentation. Naturally, uneven melanin, such as freckles, would typically get darker. Furthermore, the product reduces the risk of burning/ overexposure to the sun, which would help fight hyperpigmentation.
Can You Put Sunscreen Over Self-Tanner?
Apply sunscreen every day. You still need to protect your skin with sunscreen. Be sure that your sunscreen offers all of the following:
a. SPF 30 or higher
b. Broad-spectrum protection (UVA/UVB protection)
c. Water resistance (this will protect your skin from the swimming pool and sea).
Using sunscreen over a self-tanner is the best way to maintain an even skin tone and protect yourself from sun damage. Be sure to let the self-tanner dry completely before applying your sunscreen. Thus, please wait at least one hour after using a self-tanner; when it is dry, you can apply sunscreen. Apply your self-tan in the late afternoon or evening for even better results. Apply sunscreen in the same way that you applied your self-tanner.
How to make your fake tan last longer?
- Moisturising is the key to keeping the tan longer. Self Tan is typically applied daily to build up colour over time. Due to its hydrating properties, self Tan is made to replace your daily body lotion while enhancing your natural skin tone. Keeping your skin moisturised is essential for maintaining a healthy, sumptuous glow.
- Avoid physical and chemical exfoliators: Harsh products can decrease the vibrancy of your tan, making it fade rapidly. Examples include exfoliators, retinoids, AHAs/ BHAs and acne treatments.

- Both types of products darken the skin in essentially the same way. All sunless tanning products use an ingredient called dihydroxyacetone, or DHA. When DHA comes in contact with the amino acids on your skin, it chemically reacts, forming pigment. This pigment sticks to your dead skin cells, giving you that beautiful, natural-looking tan.
