Why Daily Cleanser Face Mousse?

The creamy oil and water-based formula is suitable for daily use, mornings and evenings and for all skin types/ conditions. It’s a triple-action of cleansing, exfoliating, and treatment due to the synergistic action between an advanced complex of five acids and Sebustop*.  It cleanses, removes dead skin cells, moisturises and normalises sebum production. It treats different skin conditions such as breakouts, enlarged pores, fine lines, dullness, and uneven skin tone/texture at the same time. Regular use will keep your skin clear, fresh and youthful looking. Due to its skin-friendly pH 5, the formula will not strip away skin microbiome and natural defences. Therefore, no need to apply a toner afterwards to regain the ph balance before using a moisturiser. You may feel some dryness while your skin adjusts to the acid routine.

*Sebustop = Butylene glycol (and) Water (and) Cinnamomum cassia bark extract (and) Zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract (and) Sanguisorba officinalis root extract

What is the difference between a regular cleanser and an EVY cleanser?
A skincare routine that skips the long processes. Triple action for cleansing, exfoliating, and treatment in one easy step. It does multitask duty on your skin, hydrating (due to the creamy mousse) and soothing while removing dead skin cells. It contains a complex with 5 different AHAs and BHAs (Lactic acid, Glycolic Acid, Citric acid, Malic Acid, and Salicylic Acid ), while the ordinary cleansers in the market have 1 – 3 acids only. SYNERGY ACTION of the acid cocktail: Each exfoliating ingredient has different benefits, and combining them can target different skin concerns such as dryness, breakouts, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and uneven skin texture—no need to have other cleansers according to your skin condition in each season.
Promotes cell turnover by influencing living cells and electively dissolving the bonds between the cells’ upper (dead) layers.
The mousse is both water and oil-based. You could double-cleanse with this cleanser only if you don’t have heavy/waterproof makeup. Don’t just save money but also time in the routine. Skin-friendly pH value of 5 means that it does the job without stripping away natural oils and other defences of the skin barrier.

Do I need to clean my face in the morning?
Every person should wash their face both morning and evening. Sweaty occasions may call for a third wash in the morning; it’s an excellent way to remove dead skin cells that have turned over on your face after sleeping. Also, remove residue from your evening products before adding on more. Before bed, you must remove makeup, pollution and sebum production from the day.” Even if you have sensitive skin, cleansing both morning and night is still a must—but paying attention to how you wash your face is just as important. Ultimately, what you use to wash your face is as important as frequency. After all, if you don’t choose the right product for your skin type, you could risk drying out your complexion during your twice-a-day cleanse, which serves as the basis of your routine. And, while you would think that dehydration would result in, well, dryness, it can actually make your skin oilier in the process. For this reason, the key to successfully cleansing twice a day is to use a formula that never strips away the skin’s natural defences.

Do I need to clean EVY sunscreen away in the evening?
Sunscreens often feel sticky, but most cleansing methods remove oil/fat, so follow your usual facial cleansing and rinse routine. You can use regular soap on your body, but usually, it’s not necessary. EVY Sunscreen Mousse doesn’t clog the pores. You will develop clogged pores and milia with ordinary sunscreen if you do not wash it off at night before bed. Comedones (whiteheads and blackheads) form when sunscreen, dirt, makeup, and dead skin cells clog pores. Many sunscreens have silicones that must be washed off before bed to prevent acne breakouts.

What is the difference between enzyme and acid cleaning?
While both exfoliate at the chemical level, they do so in slightly different ways.
First up: Enzymes are tiny molecules found in fruits (think pumpkins, cherries, and papaya) that break down the glue (lipids act as the glue between the cells), which allows the dead skin cells to be removed or exfoliated from the surface of the skin, but they don’t promote cell turnover for living cells underneath. Think of enzymes as shedding already dead skin and buffing it smooth rather than a forced cell turnover.
On the flip side, acids penetrate deeper into the skin and accelerate turnover for all your skin cells, not just the dead skin sitting up top: “Acids physically turn over the skin cells (which can cause the actual shedding of the skin), which allows new skin cells to generate. While also found in natural, plant-based products (lemon, apple cider vinegar, and the like), acids lend a bit more intense exfoliation than the average fruit enzyme.

How to use it?
The mousse is both water and oil-based. You can cleanse twice with this cleanser if you’re not wearing heavy/waterproof makeup.  The first cleanse removes pollution, makeup, and dirt built up throughout the day. The second cleanse treats your skin concerns. Take your time and be thorough.  Apply a walnut-sized blob of mousse with damp hands onto the face, neck and decolletage. Massage the mousse gently for 30-60 sec. for the best effect, especially on affected areas. Rinse with lukewarm water. Not suitable for removing makeup around the eyes.

  • Use it morning and evening.
  • Apply the desired amount ( walnut size) with damp hands on the face, neck and decolletage.
  • Massage gently the mousse for 30-60 sec. for the best effect, especially in the affected areas.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Repeat if you have a lot of makeup or impurities. Second cleans will treat your skin concerns. Be thorough.

Can acids dry out my skin?
After using acid exfoliants, you must keep the skin’s natural barrier balanced and calm to avoid irritation. This is why using a skincare routine containing a cocktail of complimentary ingredients will give you the best results. It takes 2-8 weeks for the skin to become acclimated to new skincare products, and only then can you start seeing results.  Initially, you may notice some” negative” effects on your skin, such as dryness, but this is part of the skin’s natural purging process and is entirely normal. It depends on how thin, thick, dry, or oily your skin is. This happens because it normalises the skin’s pH, which different internal and external factors affect. The mousse works in tandem with our natural pH level, not against it. The benefits of acidifying the surface through pH showed a reduction in inflammatory responses, acne, barrier function recovery and prevention of epidermal hyperpigmentation. As a recommendation, applying the DAILY REPAIR mousse will lock the moisture and keep the freshly exfoliated skin soft, supple, and hydrated.

Could the cleanser be combined with other acids like toner, masks, and serums?
Yes and no, this depends on the product you are using that is enriched with an acid exfoliant ingredient. Combining them can cause irritation, so stick to just one if you are prone to dry skin, sensitivity or redness. On the other hand, combining different exfoliators may be safe and even beneficial if you have oily skin. If you have a toner with a BHA/AHA combination and a serum, there’s not much use in the same routine – at worst, you risk irritating your skin. Better to use them separately and on alternate days instead.

How can I clean my face in summer?
In summer, the face is often shiny, sticky and uncomfortable. Because of the warm atmosphere, our skin releases more sebum, a type of natural oil to provide protection. Excess oil and sweat secretion during summer block skin pores and don’t allow the skin to breathe properly. These lead to various skin problems like acne, pimples and rashes. Also, to shield our skin against harmful UV rays, the skin increases its melanin production, resulting in a prevalent summer problem of skin tanning. The humidity of summer can make oily skin oilier. The solution to all the summer problems is thoroughly cleansing dirt, sweat and oil from the skin layer.
For the best results, you should try the powerful skin cleansing properties of Daily Cleanser. The creamy mousse achieves the cleaning effect through the emulsifying ability of the surfactant to the oil. The hybrid creamy mousse wash has a strong cleaning power to the dirt, just right It can wash off excess oil in summer and keep the skin clean.
